The aim was to raise awareness and public outrage as part of a campaign to dispel the myth that fur is in any way glamorous or sexy. Fur used in fashion is the result of a sordid, short life and death of a beautiful animal. The wearing of fur is cruel and unnecessary.
'Design an advertising campaign poster that conveys the message that the wearing of real fur is cruel and unnecessary. Any wording or slogan and imagery used is your choice.'

Mpa Roses Brief: ‘Britain works the longest hours in Europe. Help!’
Advertising plays an important role in politics and it could be argued that today a party's advertising campaign influences voters more than their policies. With this in mind I decided to use the brief from Mpa Roses in order to promote ‘Work your proper hours day’, a yearly event founded by the Trade Union Congress. In my opinion, the British public should be made aware of the fact that on average they work longer hours than the rest of Europe.
In order to highlight this fact I produced a variety of posters and postcards suitable for placing in and around the workplace.

In many ways the world of celebrity has replaced that of the spiritual world. People look up to celebrities in a way once preserved for religious figures and we very much live in a celebrity obsessed culture. Evidence of this can be seen in the numerous celebrity filled magazines which line the shelves of every newsagent and supermarket.
